mark--as a shotshell reloader--you should only use published, tested reloads--the powder companies have a lot of tested loads on the net--please do not try 296 in 28 gauge--it may blow you fingers off---296 can be very good in 410 bore loads--otherwise it's pistol powder--John--Old reloader.

I just bought 8lbs. of 2028 after you guys supplied me the info and saved me time. I just picked up a used 28 ga MEC today along with wads and 75 lbs of shot.

I won't be trying the 296, just checking since 8 lbs. seems like a lot just for 410's.

Club-- the truck came in with one 8 lb only as I was calling to check and the guy I bought the loader from said his machine was set up for it and recommended sticking with it.
