I have recently picked up a Winchester model 1912 with the serial numbers 45xxx and stamped FULL on the barrel. It has the nickel plated steel barrel which hasnt been refinished and the stock is the original which is has some wear and tear.

My question is.. is there anyone that can give me some insight on this gun?
Like price is current condition, is it wise to have restored or left in original state and where would be the best place to sell if I decided to.
Thanks

I had a 1914 mod 12. It was stamped "TRAP". Ser # was 48xxx. Nickel steel. Sold it for $500 20 years ago. Probably worth a little more than that now. Larry Evans

Every gun lover should have at least one Mod. 12. Pictures would help as there are a lot of Mod. 12 people on this site.

Quality restoration won't be cheap, nor do you want a cheap restoration.

If you decide to keep it get some quotes.
