If you are in an area that has true gun shows sometimes you can find the barrel you are after very reasonabley priced because of some cosmetic damage. Send it to Carlson's and have them cut to desired length and install choke tubes. Have two Rem. LT-20 barrels that were customized at less than $150 each and now are steel shot compatible also.
