EAST GRANBY, Conn. – Hartford Gun Club’s 10th annual Joe Carbonero Memorial Shoot will be held at the club grounds here on Sunday, August 21, beginning at 9 a.m., with 100-target 16-yard singles, followed by 100 handicap and 50 pair of doubles.

The highest combined scores of singles and doubles will take the Carbonero Trophy, which is held at the club. Shooters must play the Carbonero purse to be eligible for the trophy.

Singles and handicap will be shot on three banks of two fields each. Registration of the five classes of singles closes at 10 a.m. Registration for the four handicap yardage groups closes at 1 p.m. Doubles will be shot all day at the shooters’ discretion on a dedicated field.

Each singles class will compete for $100, paid to the top score. Ties shoot off. Each yardage group in the handicap event will compete for $125, also paid to the top score. Ties shoot off. $25 will go to winners in each of four doubles classes.
