I've been looking for a do it all shotgun. I primarily shoot trap, but will occasionally do sporting clays and 5 stand. Ideally I'd have one gun for each discipline, but money is a limiting factor lol. Currently, I'm between the beretta 694 acs and the rizzini br110 sporter ips. I've handled and shouldered both guns and they feel great. I used to own a joel etchen 687 trap that I shot well, but was forced to sell some years ago. The rizzini price point is appealing and I really like the look of it. TFL also had high praise for the rizzini during his review. However, I'm not familiar with rizzini. Does anyone have any feedback, good or bad? How is their customer service if something were to unfortunately go wrong? I appreciate any input, thank you!

I ran a JEG Gold E 682\687 SP2 EELL for more than 15 years. Also have 4 B. Rizzini guns the oldest going back more than 20 years ago the first Gen Vertex. Sold the JEG ~5 years ago to go back to flat shooting guns my little brain has a hard time switching between floating birds and covering them. My youngest son took my first Rizzini and we converted it to a trap gun. He was the Mn. State ATA Class RU with it at the age of 14. That one has ~100K rounds through it now without any problems. I like my B. Rizzini guns.

Rizzini USA doesn't have the best reputation for support according to some they are slow. I've never had any issues and only ordered choke tubes from them. 2 years ago called Cole's to get a quote on a custom BR552 and somehow ended up getting transferred to a gunsmith at the Naples, Fl. store. He said they were waiting on the last shipment of parts to come in to become an authorized repair facility for Rizzini. When Rizzini first came into the US through Sig Arms Rich Cole was the original support center for them. The smith said he had been shooting a Rizzini BR440 from the demo range for the last month and had to return it, but he liked it so much that he was thinking of selling his DT11 and picking one up.

Coles also has custom ordered Rizzini sporters made to their specs. But are all the lower flatter ribs. The IPS would be high on my short list if I were to go back to a high rib. The Vertex is the same action as the BR110 which I have in the 20 ga. BR110 Sporter. Never had any problems with any of mine but if I did I'd send it to Coles, not Rizzini USA, but that is based on hearsay not personal experience.
