2025 Iowa State Shoot Program

The 2025 Iowa State Shoot Program is now available. Shoot is July 15th through the 20th at the ISTA home grounds, Cedar Falls Iowa.




Pre-squad opens May 10th at 12:00 pm (noon) on SOSClays.com. It will be available on the web version not the app version.


There is a tutorial available that will help you navigate through the system.

Big Ed, I'll be there along with Brad Gray and Dagen Voigtman. They bring me along so they have someone to beat up on. :)

Maltzie, what it's gonna take to get the Literalist down there. A lot of people would sure enjoy seeing him and what the heck, he could carry our shells and guns from trap to trap for us. If nothing else, he could raid Mark Zauhar's beer refrigerator and keep us hydrated. I know that he reads T.S.com all day long so hopefully he'll respond.

Jimmy...... I do miss the Literalist stories. Same stories told the same way, but funny every time. I think he only had 3. Its been a long time since having a stollen Zauhar beer. In the past 4 or 5 of them Zauhar beers made my day.

In reality, the man is so talented, popular and good looking, it may be hard to find the time to associate with common riff raff like us. Could be his fear of getting too hot after the Iowa state shoot he had to get help from the EMTs. Now..... there was a time Mark would have freely given the Literalist a beer. HA! What a panzzy azz.

Oh.....Jimmy. Your mission if you choose to take it is, as a SRVet just beat me not the real big dogs. It be a real accomplishment just to beat Big Ed. Your competitive nature is overwhelming your old azz capabilities. That be a lesson I'm finding to be true.

Maltz, I'm just going to go out there and do the best that I can. I'm not looking for anyone in particular, but as you know this age thing is sure making a difference. A good day comes along once in a while and that's what keeps us coming back.
But stupid me, I've got a squad assembled that will pretty much guarantee that I'll be low score on the squad. I'll have to accept that and just keep going.

Now, I know that the Lit is keeping up with this, so I'll say to him...."Happy Mother's Day Lit".

Looking forward to the Great State of Iowa State Shoot.
