I have seen some people using earbuds while shooting and want to try some out. I was curious what recommendations you have. Also what affects have they had on your shooting.
Thanks in advance!

I was thinking electronic ones.
I have been using axil gs extreme 2.0 for 2 years now. As well as my wife, my dad, and a shooting buddy.

My best friend returned his in the first week. He could not get them to fit his ear correctly.
And 2 others I have met in the clay fields have done the same. If the dont fit try another brand.

I have.seen ppl have good luck with the
iso tunes
And the walkers in ear ones.

My only problem with the gs extreme 2.0 is that u have to use the supplied cable. No other cable will charge it.

I wear mine deer, bird, varmint hunting as well.
Wife wears hers when she mows with the tractor.

Regular earbuds like those from an I Phone have been outlawed by the NSCA, due to the fact that they will not help to keep your hearing from getting damaged by the sound of a gunshot.
I use Soundgear Phantom, bluetooth earplugs, as well as ESP.

I use Bose Quietcomfort Ultra Earbuds. If you swap the silicone buds for foam, they seal in your ear similar to foam throwaway plugs. They have Active Noise Canceling and pass through listening, so you can hear people and they’ll mute when a loud sound (gunshot) goes off.

I use custom made ones made by a Specialist Ear Dr. I had them made many years ago and they are still in good shape. At the time I had them made I think they were $50 and by now they probably would be double that but I think it;s worth it.
I don't like the big plastic ear phone type as they clunk on the buttstock. Prior to getting them I bought a little kit and made my own. Obviously they were not as good but did work pretty good but stuck out a little and finally hardened up.

Started with Marlboro filters then Marlboro lights, said to have a better filter. Quit smoking now use Decibelpro foam plugs with a 32dsb. Should have done that a long time ago

For electronic, I use these:

They work well, have volume controls and use compression rather than cutting off sound when someone shoots, something that drives me nuts.
