Good advice as none of this stuff is going to get any cheaper. I noticed a couple Sporting Clays courses have raised their fees. Not by much, only $5 so far & I can't say I blame them. Target prices are higher than a year ago.

My club, Ft. Worth Trap and Skeet ordered a bunch of Winchester 209 primers. The boxes were 5000 primers each, so I spoke up for two boxes. Total was $877 which included state tax. I don't know if that is in line what everyone else is paying, but I haven't been able to find Winchester 209's for 2-3 years, so I bought them.
They finally showed up at a local feed/hardware store for $60/1K and I bought 5K. Like you, I thought who knows when we'll see them again especially @ that price and when I went back the price went up to $99/1K. I feel fortunate that I got what I did, but ten cents per primer is tough to stomach when they were less than 4 cents per just a few years back....
