Hi looking for Info and possible value on a Perazzi Mirage Skeet gun Kolar tubes
aprox 97% condition.
What is the difference between Mirage and MX8?
No Picture owner is thinking about possible sale.
Thanks

Receivers were the same, but as Maxey stated- the earlier Mirage guns from early 1970's, that had "Mirage" in gold inlay on side of gun, had more rib options available. The Mirage designation was available in early 1990's, as I bought a new Mirage Special Sporting gun when they first came out, and shot skeet and sporting extensively with it. Wished I still had that gun. Had 30.75" barrels and pointed like a dream.

My 32” Mirage is a 1977 as far as I can tell from the serial number. Wilkinson fixed chokes. As others have stated, my understanding is that it’s an MX8 with some additional options and parts should interchange. I shoot doubles with mine and they are great shooting guns in my opinion. Have had mine for a while so don’t know what the current price on one might be.

A Mirage is a MX8 like you stated. Parts are the same. If it's a 1977, it's probably a Type 3. Still a great gun. I have two Mirage. One from 1976 (a Type 3) and one from the mid-1990s (a Type 4).

A 1977 Mirage Type 3 in great condition with 32" barrels (or likely 31.5") or 30" barrels would probably be around $4,000.
