Since I'm a Browning 725 owner, I have to figure out a way to let others know what gun is mine and not theirs! I'm trying a disc of delicate surface frog table on the base of the pistol grip, for now I'm watching it for long term adhesion marks.

What do all of you do? Last week I had a shooter grab my plain G III/IV725 Trap and leave his 725 Trap Golden Clays! Now that's a good trade! The week before that they had to make a announcement on the PA system for shooters to check their guns, it happened to a shooter heading out to the line!
Best to smack up side the head the first three guys who touch it. Then the others will tend to avoid it.

Never had a problem with anyone mistaking my Ljutic. I know most of the Ljutic owners around here anyways, and they are welcome to try mine. Anyone else who asks is also, they will want brass based hulls, though. Steel based hulls stick in the chamber.

Some good ideas above involving the bottom of the grip. Little story to go with someone taking the wrong gun off the rack.

At the MN state shoot last year, my squad mate was shooting his Blaser for a handicap event. The next squad came over to our trap after shooting their first 50. We were heading out to start our round when we all grabbed our guns. First 5 on the post went well for all of us. Well, I look back and the squad behind us is laughing and smiling towards my squad leader. In between our position change, they grabbed another Blaser from the rack and ran it to him. He had grabbed another shooter’s Blaser by mistake, broke all 5 from the 27. He had mentioned it felt a little different and that he will be implementing some changes to his. Hahaha.
I usually put mine in the truck. In the rack other people can hit your gun etc.

And then there is my recoilless. No fear of someone mistaking it for theirs and it does draw alot of attention both negative and positive...never hard to find which rack I set it on based on the crowd around it. It's the ones circling it doing some kind of tribal dance while starting a bonfire like those movies they sacrifice virgins to the gods that worry me. I usually have to run and rescue it before it ends up in the fire! :ROFLMAO:

My gun stands out one I have gold extended Rhino chokes, so they stand out pretty good. I also have a leather barrel rest/ pad. It has my initials on it so it’s can’t be confused with someone else’s. I got it from Heritage Craft Works if interested. 10/10 recommend

My shotgun returns to my Briley case when not in my hands! It is not fancy by any stretch of the imagination, just a plain MT6 that I have put together that is blued, non stripped receiver.I have had guns dinged up through the years and just don't want it to happen again! It's not that I don't trust the other shooters, but accidents happen. Chances are, no one else will have their gun in a case on the rack.

Very very few Berettas in my area lol am definitely in Browning country for most part but since both of my o/u’s wear 2” extended tunes and both of my singles also stand out lol am pretty safe!
