I tried shooting in Lady 2 but it did not work for me. The make up was running down my face, the high heels hurt my feets and besides all that the old ladies still beat me. With by new birth certificate I think I will try Sub Jr next!~!!
That is the problem with these cross shooters, trying to ruin trap like they did skeet.

I know for a fact that there was a AA27AA male shooter out of Colorado, that changed genders and wanted to be classified as a new shooter since they were now a "female" (B19B).

The president of the ATA at the time had to go to court, numerous times, for this matter. He said to the judge, he lost his D*** not his shooting ability.

Years ago Port Malabar held a ladies Shoot. Me and four other guys were going to dress up as ladies and shoot. Of course the other four chickened out. I showed up wearing my one of my wife's dresses and a Dolly Parton size bra filled with water balloons. Was having a good time until one of older fools at the shoot kept trying to hit on me. God he must have been desperate or blind. I think Larry Grenevicki still has the photos.

Years ago at a trap league I participated in there was a short yardage male who shot on a squad with four ladies. They gave him a pink feather boa as an honorarium for joining their squad. He owned it and shot with it on his person a time or two. He's most definitely a man, but this is the closest I've seen to a man "pretending" to be a woman in trapshooting... :giggle:

Our classification and yardage system should be sex blind.
Although generally I agree, I think the ATA maintains the "Lady" classifications to try to promote the sport to women.

I'm conflicted...

Sure, I understand the concept.

Do they have a pill for that?

I have to admit that I still find that fairly offensive identifying a behavior by "women". You might define what constitutes the " worst class people " and find that it is populated by both men and women.
Steel Charlie, thank you so much for this comment. Being an older female shooter has had plenty of its challenges and has been an uphill battle, let alone the negative attitudes some have toward us just because we are stereotyped as "women," therefore somehow inferior.
