Do we have men pretending to be women in trapshooting?

Autogynephilia in males is largely driven by a chronic addiction to pornographic media, so it wouldn't be a surprise to find men who have descended into such addiction appearing at the trap range. It's common in other male dominated spaces like IT these days too.

Where I shoot there are no men choosing to disclose their proclivities in such a way, nor would they remain welcome if they did. Our range is built around advancing an SCTP youth program, so perverts and cheats would be driven out quickly.

It was fun to watch all the guys on here falling all over themselves to welcome Bustemkim when she posted pics shooting in bikini tops and daisy dukes.

They offered plenty of advice and were very welcoming until she was “outed”.

Reminded me of a new female private arriving in the unit from my Army days. The hounds were loose.

The ATA and SCTP have stated their position on this already.

Let it go, these arguments do nothing to further the sport.

Fascinating. Absolutely fascinating. I had no idea that there was such depth to the fund of knowledge of the members here.


And just for the record, IMO (and in the rational world) males have no place in any contest defined for female participation. Period.

I find women have more class than men, usually. Maybe you hang around the wrong type? We men have run most of the women shooters off this site, or they read in silence, not finding it necessary to reply.

Women that shoot are a different than most women. Considering most women dont shoot, they are quite different. Yes, better behaved then most the men on the field that is for sure.

I'm saying most trap shooters act like the worst class of women.

I shoot handguns and rifles weekly with 2 different women and have for over 10 years. Yes, they are different. They were liberated women long, long ago before it was fashionable and in general have no use for today's woman who says she's liberated.

It's important to keep it real about what these so-called 'transgenders' really are.

I have to admit that I still find that fairly offensive identifying a behavior by "women". You might define what constitutes the " worst class people " and find that it is populated by both men and women.

I am surprised.

I am surprised that a web site dedicated to trap shooting has members showing support for a man winning a trophy in a women's category at the mother of all trap shoots. Make no mistake, the winner was a man. He was born a man and no amount of drugs, surgery or make up is going to make him a woman.

The only thing that will ever change my mind about this is if the winner announces his pregnancy.

Then I will gladly hand him the trophy.
