I’ve always been a fan of quality SxS’s. However I’m not sure what model or grade this Francotte is as there is not much information out there on these. If someone could give me a little bit of information that would be greatly appreciated.
I can tell it’s a trap model after closer inspection due to the stampings on the rib but I’m not sure of manufacture date or grade if there were any other grades of trap models. This is a start

The first step is to determine the DOM and if made after 1921 it will have a lettre annale
Cornell Pubs has Von Lengerke & Detmold catalog repros from 1890 - 1927, and Von Lengerke & Antoine from 1911 - 1940

Be aware that Francottes listed on internet sales sites are often...uh...enthusiastically graded or claimed to be a Jubilee model in error.
It is an ejector model, I’ll try to post more pictures when I’m back at the house tomorrow.Post full size high resolution images of every mark on the barrel flats and just forward of the flats.
It may be a pre-1910 Special Trap Ejector

Looks like the top of the barrels say “Von Lengerke & Detmold” the rib says “VL.R Trap Gun” and the top of the other barrel say “U.S. Agents New-York”.With the side clips, straight stock, long BTFE and 2 triggers I'll bet it's a Pigeon Gun Bro. o-hale.
