Any one shot such events? Any comments?
After the regular registered shoot , local range held a black light shoot fun last Saturday night. Great fun targets stood great. would recommend a lite pipe front bead for some muzzle location awareness, my lite green tint paint didn’t help me much.
If I figure out easy route for ME to do it I’ll add short video clip later

I got to shoot one these a couple of weeks ago. WOW! Really different, interesting and a lot of fun. The courses set up was wobble trap and doubles. The one thing I found is that your basics either shine or betray you when shooting in darkness. Id certainly shoot this again if the opportunity comes along and its definitely a learning experience.

Our Range, Jonesboro Shooting Sports Complex in Jonesboro, AR started this around Thanksgiving. Has been a big hit, lot of people coming out, kids and adults. It definitely keeps interest going for trap shooters as well as getting others out to try. We are going to try the skeet field next but when we get the 5 stand up and going it will be set up there as well.

Can anyone give me an idea of what equipment costs for this (whole hog pro grade setup, not rinky dink)? Club is trying to come up with some new ideas, and this seems like it might have the lowest barrier to entry of any of the options, esp considering it'd probably be a draw as no one else in the area does it yet.
If you do get some insight please let me know, very interested in knowing what equipment is needed and works better! thanks
Owner just replied they had spent just under a GRAND in the uv lights. Currently no info on exactly what they bought as for as output but I know this was an ongoing project over a couple of months with discussions over brightest lights etc

The range manager said the same thing- it was under $1000. We had a sponsor pay for the second field black lights after the first night when approx. 70 shooters showed up to shoot and many wanted more than 1 round. Call Joey (range manager) at the Jonesboro Shooting Sports Complex in Jonesboro, AR and he will give you some details on the equipment and costs to set it up.
