Picked up a used MEC 600 Jr Mark V 20 ga reloaded for $100 today. Looks brand new, bet it loaded less than 200 shells. I’m all set, 9000G for 12 ga, 8567 for 28 ga and 600 jr for 20 ga. All I need now is to build my reloading bench and I’m ready to go. Might have to buy some 20 ga components and start there with the least complex machine.

What hulls seem to work the best. At present I don’t have any empties, but I do have a few flats of Rem Gun Clubs, that I will be shooting up. My buddy has been shooting some Winchester AAs, but not saving them, I’m going to have hI’m start.
I have the very same loader I bought new in high school. Have loaded a bazillion shells with it. I prefer the Remingtons for 12 and 20 guage. Gun club works fine but as stated. The steel bases go through the resizer a little tougher.

I’ve been reloading 12 gauge a long time. I started reloading 20 ga. 11 of 12 years ago and bought the Jr. to do it. Works great for my needs. Been getting a bit more use lately because my one grandson is getting into targets now. Got in under the wire with all the price hikes when I bought it. Heck those machines were $89.00 forever. Put the primer feeder on it right away, well worth it doing that. Install of it is very simple and easy.

I like the Gun Clubs and the AA hulls for reloading. Would be best to sort them. I've loaded the Winchesters as well and they have the steel base also. Try to use the same hulls and have a great time loading. I recommend the MEC jig fixture as well since you have each gauge for your reloading bench. I picked up one of the jigs a few months ago, I think it will be a great part of the setup.
