I haven't been a fan of Remington for several years. They went bankrupt. Were bought by that French company. Lost their claim to the most accurate rifle out of the box. Lonoke plant practically shut down in the middle of an ammo shortage. We have VISTA to thank for keeping the brand alive and bringing the Lonoke plant back up to full capacity. What VISTA did is they saved Remington from the business scrap heap and flipped it for a nice profit. The new owners do business all over the world. I have faith everything will workout.

If Lonoke was back to full capacity, where is all the ammo? There is no Remington ammo on shelves anywhere.

So Federal,Remington, Etc are now part of the Fiocchi/B&P family.
"For the times they are a changin." What will those who unfairly and unjustly demean UK and EU sourced hulls, ammo, primers, powders, etc... as "Eurotrash" think of this development?

Agreed. None of us have a crystal ball but the trend over many years shows many of the domestic commodities have been very high priced, or not available at all and have been replaced by available and less costly imports.

The biggest "loss" to the shooting community will eventually be the quality brass-head hulls like AA and STS. They are the best for reloading. Eventually they will be gone!

Yes, this Czecho company has already purchased Fiocchi/B&P and just apparently completed a deal with Perazzi.
Wonder if they will go after Winchester ?

CT
Winchester as in Olin? I doubt it.
Olin has many fingers and toes in many pies.

Winchester guns.....
That is FN.
I don't know just how big FN is but they do a ton of military work which has to be very $trong for them.
🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

You might be correct on the sts with this Remington deal in place but Olin will keep on keeping on.
Trust me when I tell you Olin absolutely loves their ties with the ATA and top shooters and contests and other events.

That said...of course it will become even harder to obtain AA's if the sts/gun club/whatever goes away.

So there's always that to look forward to. Something else getting harder to get. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

You don’t spend 1.91 billion dollars unless you expect to make and sell a lot of ammo. I just wish they bought Alliant Power as well. Maybe it fits with Fiocchi building a primer plant in Arkansas as well. These venture capitol conglomerates seem to have no idea how to build business. Guess that’s because they only build by buying, not by building and creating new products or new factories. Time will tell If this is a good thing.
