I’d asked Tom Morgan earlier this year about a different set of arms for my Rangers and was told even they can’t get parts for repairs. So it was new frames or nothing else. Not sure what the reasoning could be but I hope it’s only temporary.

A while back,Randolph signed up Todd Bender and Paul Giambrone away from Pilla...

The prices then DOUBLED on replacement clip-ons for their "Sportsman's" glasses.

They are charging insane prices on their stuff now.

And not sure why, but when I had a problem recently with Tom Morgan (formerly L&M Lenses) I don't get a return call on his office or cell phone , Email or text returned .

I will certainly spend my money elsewhere!!!

MSRP for a replacement nose piece is $5.95. Wholesale is $4.16

I’ll reach out to my account rep and report back. The issue for me… being an extremely small dealer is shipping. If I order a new lens for someone. Ranger will only send it to me and not the customer… They’ll charge me $20 in shipping then I have to turnaround and send it back out usps to the customer for another $6-$7.

Any vendor probably won’t have replacement nose pieces unless they bought a ton just to have on hand.

I have no idea what transpired between the two of you.

But I just had a totally reverse issue with Tom. He took very good care of me and went above and beyond making me a Happy Camper!!! I will not go into details about what happened. All I will say, is give Tom a chance. He is doing the glasses business as a part time endeavor, I expect. So give him time to get back to you, and see what he can do for you. You can always call Ranger and send them your glasses!!! Be sure to Thank Biden for our new build back better!!! This is it!!!! break em all Jeff

They say is you need something like a nose peace to pound sand and buy a new set of frames.
Is this acceptable????
Can you clarify, are we talking plastic nose pads or the adjustable nose bridge, or a nose pad arm off a Ranger classic... what's worn out or broken and how old are the frames?

They may want you to send your frame to them for service, rather than sending you the parts.

Directly from my rep….Dealers can purchase them for their customers. Those are listed at the bottom of the order form.

However, there are some frames, more on the sporting glasses side, that the nose pads are not interchangeable and if it breaks a new frame would need to be purchased.
My frames are #67
Tom Morgan And Dr Rivley both sing the same song.
They cant get any parts for thier customers.

I can guarantee that Ranger will want you to send them your glasses. I expect all your lenses as well. To be sure the issue can be resolved fully!!! I talked to a Ranger rep 2 months ago with a broken left Temple!!! I decided to send my frames to Tom. At L&M lenses. I will now be a steady customer with Tom. He treated me right, so I feel I should do him right, on this thread. What goes around, comes around. break em all Jeff

Had an eye exam in my 70 YO eyes a year ago.
I reached out to Randolph to update the prescription lenses in my Rangers as well, old eyes & new glass.
I live fairly close to their Randolph, MA headquarters & recalled that they did eye exams in-house, but was told they no longer do that & referred me to a local optician that they partner with after I had a new script. I simply went to my regular optometrist, updated the script & handed it over to the optician. Young staff, very helpful, but were just impressed with the Rangers....they sell the full line of Randolph sunglasses, etc., but had never seen the Rangers in-hand. They kept passing them back and forth with oohs & aahs, a few wows. Frames are probably from 2015 and are as solid as the day I got them.
I did grab one pair of the React AI lenses & have to agree the prices will put a pause on sales.

Ranger classic nose pads.

My eye doctor said he can no longer get them from Ranger.
He has ran out and his only option is to offer his clients new frames.
