What is the best tape,etc to put on the lens of the glasses and still not look so stupid?

You can get a package of the different colored dots from some of the shooting venders. I think the wife got hers from Target shotguns. I’ve also seen dots at Walmart in the office supplies. I’ve also seen people use scotch tape. Guess it just depends on how fancy you want to get.
There isn’t one. Tape on the glasses is an unusual look.
The best way to not look stupid is to actually hit the targets. That fixes everything
I have a magnetic barrel blocker that I use instead of the tape. Try one of those, they don’t look as bad to you when you are looking at the targets

If your left eye dominate, all you need is a very small piece of scotch tape in upper left hand corner of your lens. Just enough to keep you from seeing the barrel with left eye.
That is what works best for me. I do not think that I look stupid when the target breaks.

You're wearing giant, colored glasses, probably with blinders on the side.
Yes, a piece of tape will the the tipping point to make you look stupid.
Maybe attach a fake nose and mustache to draw the attention away from the tape.

Morgan Optical - Magic Dots are the way to go. They have different colors and can blend into your lens. I use them and I think they help.

The magic dot is a good start, but if you are still having trouble, you may be looking around the dot and would need to add tape. As earlier posters have suggested, why worry about looking stupid if you break targets. What is more stupid, looking good and breaking a 65 or looking “stupid “ and breaking 100?
