Thanks will give it a try.
I use the Briley Speed Wrench. I only use two fingers when I tighten my chokes. This way you don't over tighten your chokes, and can still loosen them when the barrel cools off. I Never tighten down my chokes with the full force of my hand. Do keep a good grease on your choke tube threads at all times as well. I like to keep all the chokes in my case greased while stored in the case. In case I want to change tubes while shooting a sporting course. I already have each choked greased and ready to go, no matter what choke I decide to install. I have never had a choke get stuck in any of my guns. Good Luck to Ya. break em all Jeff

I have Briley extended chokes for the 101's that I shoot. They will loosen up after a round or two. I check them while moving posts on occasion ( to be honest at least 3 or more times a trap). I've had a stuck choke in the pigeon grade and a broken/split choke that was stuck in the diamond. I pull and clean the tubes and barrels more frequently now after these incidents.

Since it has loosened on you a lot in the past, the threads and that part of the barrel are probably very dirty and gunked up which isn’t helping. Remove the chokes and clean it up in there very good-12 ga you can probably wrap a patch around finger with solvent and reach up in there. Then follow whatever of the above techniques you want except the obvious joke of red locktite. With extended chokes it’s very easy to just make sure they are tight every few stations.

I clean my tubes, only own extended, wont own a flush mount, every time they go out. I use choke n carb cleaner on the threads tipped down into a bucket and let drain. Take a 10ga bronze brush and clean out the threads slightly a turn or 2. Put tube in a jelly jar full of shooters choice bore cleaner. Wipe it off after it soaks while l clean the bore and rest of the gun.
I then use 1 of these other 3 to lube the threads on the tube. Depending on firearm, weather and upcoming use.

I have BROWNING INVECTOR tubes in both of my guns. I use a over the counter choke tube grease and snug up the tube with a Browning wrench. I have never had a choke tube loosen up or be so tight i couldn’t remove it. I thoroughly clean my guns once a month. I just shoot the hell out of them. My 2 cents worth.
