Hey folks check out https://gatdaily.com/reloading-hogdon-gives-a-powder-update/. Hodgdon gives a powder update for 2023. In a nutshell supplies will be back to normal except for Enduron and Trailboss. Prices will remain about where they are but should have no problem with supply.
Wonder if it will be any more accurate than that liar from Vista making videos about how they are working so hard to put ammo on the shelves......

Link didn’t work for me either. Nothing in the news on their web site. There is however a fraud alert on the Hodgdon home page.

jimbo2 can you check your source?
Found it, go to Hodgdon.com. Home page has four notices, second one says where is all the powder q&a (first was fraud alert). Click on learn more. There you have it, back to pre covid availability. It will be good to buy Clays again. Thanks jimbo2 for starting this post.

My aunt's sister in law's nephew, that works at a Putt Putt range told my sister's ex boyfriend that anything an expert in the ammo field, economic guru, or any owner of any manufacturer of components, ammo, or guns is a liar. This whole time, all manufacturing has been at normal levels, but instead of selling to the public to make money, they have been storing all products in a secret underground government facility in the hills of West Virginia for the last three years.

Apparently the plan is, a month or so before the 2024 elections, it will be announced all employees of firearm related industry will be laid off, with double pay and benefits for five years, taxpayer funded, and only the inventory in the SAFC (strategic ammo firearm cave) will be available to the public at ten times the actual value, and after all service branches of the US government take what they want.

The other explanation is, it was a simple supply/demand economics 101 issue during a worldwide pandemic labor and manufacturing shut down, that took sometime to recover from, as the experts had predicted.

I can’t open the link. But where I get my reloading supplies I was told Hodgdon Powder products situation is going to get worse. Their involvement with European governments. I believe my source at the shop (to some degree). Ain’t shit getting better anytime soon. I don’t think there is much truth being passed on to us and it is a major scam.

Ramshot competition went from $180/8 in January to $299/8 this February on the Hodgdon site. So will the new prices remain for 2023? Many price increases on various powders at multiple sources. Glad I bought before Februay.
