I was shooting sporting clays today and noticed some emptied in the trash bin labeled "Sterling" and they were labeled "12cal - 27gr- 8". They look to be of European manufacturer. Could not find an empty box to see where they might have been manufactured. Has anyone shot there shot gun shells? Where are they manufactured? Are they of good quality? Where can you purchase them?

Between my son and I, we've shot I think 8 flats now of the 3/4 oz. #9 "Quail Special" loads for skeet. No FTF'S or FTE'S in my 85TSS or his Cynergy. Zero recoil and they break skeet targets just fine. Yes, they are dirty (and a bit on the stinky side!) but I clean my guns regularly so not an issue. Since the ammo shortages started, anything #9 has been very hard to find so when we came across these, thought what the heck, give them a try. Free shipping on bulk purchases has been a perk too.

Yes I shoot 12ga. 1 ounce #8 shot 1950 speed all the time my opinion it's the best 12 gauge Ive ever shot. Perfect on patern board, no big spaces (holes) . There specs say high amolodium, primer has longer spark to ignite progressive burning powder, shot looks to be polished and perfect-ally round.
