shipped back to browning with cracked forearm at my expense on July 1 and completed October 11th with no charge. The gun has had minimal rounds fired through it and I’ve fought all the hardware on the forearm from the very start. I have yet to do anything other than assemble it and everything seems to fit very tight.

I was a little disappointed in the replacement as it seems to be quite a bit lighter. Although I prefer the lighter forearm over the more green stock I’d be much happier either way with them matching, and would have gladly paid the difference in whatever it would have taken to do so. Maybe I’m being too picky for a gun that has a few scratches and dings on it? I’m no photographer and believe the color difference to be quite a bit more noticeable in person than what I could capture with the iPhone.

I had mine glued on several times.Had it factory repair. Loaned it to a friend for the state shoot. Same problem. He had it reglued. The gun Smith told him it is common. They found a machinest that is going to build a different latch makeup.
Love that shotgun. I shoot a Kolar now.
If he can figure out a way to correct the problem I will go through Transferring it to him.
He shot his life best with it.

With mine at least-the hardware was either over tightened or it was fired with the hardware loose. The hardware coming loose has been a constant struggle from the day I took that thing out of the box. I addressed it in my note to browning but they didn’t give any sort of response when they returned it from the repair
