Browning Double Auto, steel receiver, 24.5” barrel, with screw chokes and U-channel rib! This unique and fun gun has original attractive stock and forend, and a well-fitted Pachmayr recoil pad.

Gun is in good condition overall, with some slight overall fading of the bluing, but no areas that are worn through (except at the shell loading port on the left side of the receiver, which is common and unavoidable). The wood is in good condition as well, although there are two cracks in the neck of the stock that have been professionally and completely repaired. The safety has been removed from the trigger, so this is a dedicated clays gun, unless someone adds back the safety. The trigger guard/assembly is Autumn Brown in color – it was not uncommon for the trigger assembly to not match the receiver on DAs, especially the steel receiver guns.

I got it to shoot skeet and sporting clays. It is so much fun to shoot, and a great conversation starter on the course. It will reliably cycle as low as 7/8 oz. 1200fps shells without issue. It is definitely a shooter, not a collector gun. Comes with flush skeet choke and extended MOD choke.

Asking $600.00 shipped to your FFL in the lower 48 states.

They definitely are a conversation starter. Mine has a Simmons rib and and a Cutt's poly choke. They defiantly are a hoot to shoot. The only beef I have with mine is even with lite loads it will kick the snot out of you. Nice gun, fair price someone will be snatching it up

I am nearly certain the barrel is factory length. As you can see in the close-up photo of the muzzle, the front bead is on a rise within the channel rib, which wouldn't be the case if it was cut down (unless someone did an extraordinary job of re-fabricating the end of the barrel after cutting - which is possible, but I doubt it.).

I don't know who threaded it for screw-in chokes, but it was very well done, and the threading is for any Tru Choke choke tubes.
