A plastic hull can be roll crimped and reloaded and roll crimped a couple of times.
The spent hull has to have the hull mouth "conditioned."
That means it needs to be reopened to relax the remaining roll at the hull mouth to make the opening straight and wide enough to insert the wad.
A conditioning tool is sold by Ballistic Products and one was sold by Lee Loader and another by MEC.
I reload roll crimped 20 gauge hulls and condition them by pushing in a closed pair of needle nose pliers and give them a twist or two.
Easy peezy.

There are roll crimps and then there are fold crimps. Unless your PW is specially adapted it does fold crimps.
Mine does roll crimps, at least i think i does i had a special crimp die made for mine i will have to ask the machinist about it, I just know my shells look better than most others and especially on papers, but thanks for letting me know cause i am not sure now.

Four roll crimped shells with a fold crimped shell front center for contrast.

Got ya i guess i have a fold crimp but i have a very good one for sure, as i have 5 loaders all the same and just the one with the new crimp and there is a difference but no difference in the performance though . thank for enlightening me.

Some loaders will “roll” the edge over on the fold crimp on the last station. Hornady 366 does this. Basically just puts a slight taper. As Flash noted, it isn’t the same thing.

Flashmax, nice looking roll crimps. I'm assuming you did all but the yellow one with writing on it. All mine are just with the plane card. I'm too cheap to buy the clear plastic, and don't have any cork. I've found that thicker OS cards disrupt the patterns. I tried the .062 cards [ in brass shells so I didn't have to glue in the .028 cards ] and got a donut pattern. I would think the cork might do the same. Just guessing. My reproduction 1902 Sears catalog has a short article about this in with their reloading supplies. They also claim the OS card should be as thin as possible for good patterns. Just some thoughts. Oh, to answer the OP, I use old shells with bad ends, cut them off and roll crimp and throw them away after one shot. It's usually some trouble to get the ends straightened out enough to get a wad to slide in again. That's just my feelings. I also have a unlimited supply of used shells so that could make a difference how I feel about roll crimps. 2 1/4" roll crimped shells do look cool though.
