What size shot do you shoot on your handicap’s? For me and my gun 7 1/2’s pattern the best.

Mix 6’s with 5’s and throw an ounce and a half at 1800 FPS. No one will ever know and you’ll crush targets from the 19 yard line.

Full - 16 yds - 1 1/8th - 1150 fps - 8's
Fuller - 27 yds - 1 1/8th - 1250 fps

All that means is that you haven't patterned your gun properly. Barrels are stupid. They like all shot sizes equally well.

Never shot anything but 8's from 22 to 27. Never experienced a reason to shoot 7.5's.

I takes GREAT RESTRAINT NOT TO RECOMMEND 7/8 oz.of #9’s through an
improved cylinder choke.....and OF COURSE....PLAY ALL THE OPTIONS!!!
