Need some powder scale help

Well my RCBS micro pro took a dump. Now I have to look for a need digital scale. Was looking at the
Hornady 50108 Electronic Scale
Reviews are pretty good on them. Was curious what others were using.

I have a PACT BBK II, but I don't think it would be my choice if I had to buy one again. It seems a bit delicate.

I have a Hornady and RCBS digital scale powder dispenser for rifle cartridges, and both are very accurate. Assuming the Hornady 50108 scale is similar in internal scale design as the lock n load powder dispenser scale, I presume it would be very accurate.

Also, considering Natchez has the 50108 on sale for $79.99, it seems like a pretty good deal to me. Natchez - Search Results for Hornady 50108

I wouldn't hesitate on a Dillon D-Terminator either.

I use the old hornady balance beam, just stuck in the old ways

I would stay away from electronic scales!! The beam scale doesn't need batteries like the ever ready bunny.

All my digital scales died. My two balance beam scales from 20 years ago are going strong. I stopped replacing digital scales.

I have this and it's great. More convenient than setting up my RCBS 1010

Digital scales are much quicker. Buying a bunny once in a while doesn't bother me.

If you are willing to pay that much for the Hornady, consider this one. https://www.peregrinemonolithics.com/the-most-accurate-reloading-scale-peregrine-reloading-scale/ It is accurate to 1/100 of a grain and has no latency.

And they don't "break" like an electronic scale can. Been using the same one for 50 years.

Looks like a good scale. You can get it from Amazon for $99.00. I have a Pact which is similar. Stay away from the smaller scales that are battery powered. They are handy but sooner or later you will have a battery leak and it is ruined. I think the larger AC powered scales are more accurate.

You cannot go wrong with a Dillon or a RCBS either.

Any of the Lyman scales are fine. Just get one that works on AC and batteries.

I have been using a Dillon D-Terminator electronic scale for over 12 years and it still operates flawlessly. No complaints about this product. (wish all my electronics operated this good)
