looking to get a large shooting bag from shamrock leathers but they don’t have dimensions on their site, it just says it will hold 8 boxes of 12 gauge shells. My question is will my Pilla glasses box fit in There someplace? Maybe the additional front pouch? I would hate to spend $200+ on a bag and not have my glasses fit...

I think you will need the Large side pouch for your Pilla lens case. There was a thread a few months ago with a member showing his Shamrock leather shooter bag with the large side pouches that Shamrock offer to fit the Pilla case. Beretta687EELL was the member that started the thread.

I've found Bryan and Lisa at Shamrock very good to deal with. Give them a call - they'll know the options that will work for you.

My large leather bag is 6"x 10"by 9"tall.
It can hold 6 boxes of shells and my ranger glass case in the main bag alone or just 8 boxes of shells.

The front pouch is 3" x 9" by 6" tall, side pouches are 2-3/4" x 5-1/4" by 7-1/2" tall.

Hope this helps.

As others said contact shamrock , I would get the two ends the same and the large front pocket . I have glasses in one end , shooting gloves in the other end [ summer and winter ] . The front pocket has a rain poncho [ virtually a plastic bag ] ata cards and earplugs . Get it all you will be happy you did . The end pockets you can remove and put back on if you wish ..

If it is voluminous enough to hold 8 boxes of 12 ga shells, it will hold one pair of shooting glasses.

That said, you can pack any container tightly enough that it won't hold one more item. This applies to shooting bags as well as boxcars.

It's a big bag... if you can't fit what you need, you're carrying too much...

You've got a vehicle, that's the mothership - load it up with everything

At line, bring your 4-box carrier and just what you need for that event... don't overload yourself...

An extra trip to the car or truck is good exercise...
