I have read the manual. I am interested in getting feedback on the process of setting up a PFS. Did you go to a stock fitter? Did you buy measuring tools or just use rulers and a compass? How hard was it to get set up initially?

no ultimate fit comb, just using the regular comb for now, i will try and take some pics when i'm at the club later on and post them when i get home

Mine arrived yesterday. I installed it on my Caesar Guerini Challenger Impact Trap and made the initial adjustments to match the factory stock.
After speaking with Vern at PFS, I decided on the Ultimate Fit comb.
Easy to follow instructions.
Now I need to get through the snowbanks to shoot and fine tune it..............

shot 2 rounds again today with the PFS only adjustment made today was i went one more turn with the recoil tension adjustment, shot 25 and 23 the unit is working great i will be getting the ultimate fit comb just to have.

Sounds like you need to call Vern, I think it takes a jig to compress them back into the lower tube from what he told me a few years ago. 719-250-7727
I called the maker for the tension on the main shock. He told me if you get into your gun pretty hard start out by turning the screw all the way in and back it out about 7 turns. I ended up at 5 turns out and like it very well
Thanks for the belleville washer help so far . As you know if the washers are not fitted correctly they are nothing more than packing pieces .
It would be real useful to know how many are fitted as standard and are the all fitted as springs or are some fitted as spacers? Here in the UK no-one knows as they normally leave well alone . Except for my dumb friend who ended up with them all over the floor , similar to photograph above . Of course he has no idea of the correct re-assembly sequance.

If you already have a stock that fits you relatively well, I'd use it as a template to set up the PFS. if you don't have a clue where to start, look up a good stock fitter .BYG
