Funny!Maybe a goose flew over the factory right when they were trying to decide..
All of the A400's are known for throwing hulls a country mile. We have a 3.5 Unico and the aforementioned Multitarget and from the factory they will eject shells in excess of 8+ feet to the right. While the Unico's purpose is hunting the Multitarget is our "all around" clays gun and our backup/primary registered trap gun. The plastic TS shell catcher works flawlessly for singles/caps, and by changing the gas valve spring out for the blue one in the set offered by Cole's I was able to shorten the distance/force by which the hulls were ejected thus making it a trap line "friendlier" firearm. I love the balance, feel, and soft recoil of the gun and to date it has cycled everything I have fed it. Congratulations on your new gun and #breakemall! The only con I have heard is that you can’t use a shell catcher for games that take 2 shots, and the shooter to the right may not like the hulls flying at him/her.
Really doesn't matter if the chamber is 2 3/4" or 3". My DT-10 Trap model has a 3" chamber. I think Beretta went to that years ago.View attachment 1352433
---Pros: TS makes a shell catcher, plastic but works fine. The higher the comb and the lower the rib the higher the gun shoots. See how high it will shoot and try that first. Kicks very lightly. The Modified tube will shoot 30 inches wide at 40 yards.
Cleaning it ain't all that bad once you get used to it. And it doesn't need it too often. Once every 5 or 6 hundred maybe, and maybe a whole lot more. Kicks much softer than the high dollar single shots. Handling qualities built in.
Cons: They made it with a 3" chamber. I guess that doesn't hurt anything but I don't know why they did it. Maybe a goose flew over the factory right when they were trying to decide..
You don't have any flash problems?? shot 1100 Remington's for years.-- And they eject straight out and I will get a flash every once in a wail The berretta looks like it ejects more upwards making it a bigger problem for a left hander?I’m left handed and it does just fine. I have the comb pushed all the way to the left just about and it lines up perfectly for me.. mine is the 30in model with the kickoff.. now, I have another question.. I’m a believer in comp n choke choke tubes... would you all be afraid to run one of them over the beretta go tubes?
Shooting the league last night with a guy shooting an old SX1. That thing was throwing hulls at least 20-25 feet!!All of the A400's are known for throwing hulls a country mile. We have a 3.5 Unico and the aforementioned Multitarget and from the factory they will eject shells in excess of 8+ feet to the right.
I was shooting mine one day, and the little rib ramp section that mounts on the receiver came loose. I was just practicing by myself, so just finished the round, but it was a little annoyingBe sure to tighten the rear rib screw very good after adjustment. If you like blue loctite, use it sparingly. The screw hex head is very soft and will not survive much torque. Great gun, love the adjustability. I had my trigger lightened by Cole's, very good people. I have the 30" barrel with K/O.
