I've ordered three guns from Bud's over the last four months. Remington V3, Walther PPS M2 9mm, and a Glock Gen/4 19FS. All three with prices that no other gunshop could match, plus tax-free unless you live in TN. All three arrived at my FFL within 5 days. I really would like to spread my buying around, but this is too easy! BTW, I adore my Remington V3!

You don't have to claim out of state purchases when you file your TN. taxes?? Most states require it. I would not do transfers on new guns when I had my shop. I charged 10% over my cost on new. If someone wanted to buy it a few dollars cheaper that's up to them instead of supporting local businesses. A lot of the same guys came in after the Safe Act and also wanted me to accept online ammo purchases for free. Must be none of them were ever self employed in NY.

That's bittersweet.
I'm no stranger to online gun buying but I will most often times contact the local dealer and get their price. If at or around $100 I'll offer to split the difference. Sometimes they will, sometimes not.

I have had good luck with Buds. You can also check out galleryofguns.com. they are a distributor that uses your local participating gunshops.

Go here first , enter the upc of the gun of interest in the search box. The lowest prices online will come up.

On a lot of buds guns, there is a "make offer" option. Buds has always matched the lowest shipped cost for me from any competitor. They are very reliable . I'd like to go through my LGS, but when he wanted to charge me $200 more for a used 725 citori than the cost of a new one, that bridge was burned.

I too have had good luck with Bud's. My LGS (that does accept transfers from other shops and online retailers) has a standing policy not to accept any transfers from Bud's because they do not like how they "undercut" other dealers with their low pricing.

Im sure that Bud's does a great job as members have posted so far. I tend to buy at my local shops 99% of the time.

There is one sporting goods store who has been a great sponsor for our local club with Quality Trophies for our registered shoots--Gift Card give aways for our local winter league and sponsorship of a winter league team.

I find that cultivating a good relationship with a local sporting goods store and dealers works good for us as it works both ways. They see business from members and they give back with support for our club and its activities.

Normally online shops could care less about your club--donations--supporting a local youth program--ect. I like to put my money where it has the most impact on my local economy and community.

The last 5 guns I have bought has been through Buds. I always go to our local gun shop here in the Keys and there is no way they can match the price. Free shipping,no taxes, low prices. They are happy with the transfer fee and the back ground fee = $ 46.00 . All my ammo is shipped to the house with free shipping.

A couple of weeks ago I got an email from Bud's listing RM380 for $219 with a $100 rebate. I already had one, but for that price I would take another. The next morning I called our FFL transfer agent to
make sure they were listed with Bud's. They said yes and I went on to Bud's website to order and the price had gone to $268. I was a little hacked and decided to not get it. Two days later I am on the site
and the gun is $225. I order one, it comes in a timely manner, I am happy but see that the gun went back up to $271 the day after I ordered. I liked the good deal, but did not like the way the price bounced
up and down without warning. Makes it hard on those who are not on the computer every day.

I never used Bud’s but I have used Grabagun with positive results. I just checked on a gun.
Bud’s: Remington 1100 competition: 965
Grabagun: same gun as above: 935 but it does have 7.00 for shipping. The FFL I use for online gun purchases also charges 30 for Transfer

I too have seen prices bounce around day to day. I think they are committed to beat best prices and as that changes, so does their price.

However, I have clicked on the "make offer" link and submitted the lowest listed price I have seen on their site. Both times the offer was accepted .

As far as the video above , all my lgs list their prices as cash prices. I pay for all mine with money orders, never a charge card. I have been on a waiting list for a gun a couple times and Buds notified me when it was in. No auction.
