I'm wanting to build up the palm swell on my gun. Is bondo the best? Didn't know if there were other options available. Thought about stacking up moleskin. Thoughts?

it really depends on how far you want to take it. You can use wood and checker over it and you probably won't even tell if its done properly. Depends on the gun. Bondo is soft use the fiberglass reinforced and paint it when your done is probably the way to go.

Where the hell you been Matt? Haven't seen you on here much in awhile. I thought maybe you moved to some remote island with no interweb. LOL

I considered modifying a stock on a TMX to add a palm swell, but prior to that commitment I stuck one of the Kick Eze palm swells on and like it so well, it remained on for over five years. No reason to do more.

I tried the Kick-Eez and used the tennis racket wrap.
It stayd on just fine but did not seen to help me any, probably did not fit like it should have, I removed it with no problem.
They are a cheap way to try and see what you think, good luck.

I did this with the spongey tennis grip tape. It isn't pretty, but it is the most comfortable, secure grip I've ever had, and it cushions some of the recoil. The grip tape has an adhesive backing so you can use long piece, short pieces, anything you want to get the perfect grip. If someone hitting a tennis ball 120 mph uses this, you can be sure it will hold a shotgun.
