You can purchase a rubber stick-on palm swell. Kick-eez make one and there may be others.

it really depends on how far you want to take it. You can use wood and checker over it and you probably won't even tell if its done properly. Depends on the gun. Bondo is soft use the fiberglass reinforced and paint it when your done is probably the way to go.

Use to make mine with shell box tops and electrical tape. Still use the box tops and now gorilla tape on some hunting guns.

I did this with the spongey tennis grip tape. It isn't pretty, but it is the most comfortable, secure grip I've ever had, and it cushions some of the recoil. The grip tape has an adhesive backing so you can use long piece, short pieces, anything you want to get the perfect grip. If someone hitting a tennis ball 120 mph uses this, you can be sure it will hold a shotgun.
