they were the benchmark shell at the time. they were Winchester aa's main competitor.
lot of people called them blue tragics......but I never had an issue with them reloading or not lasting.
matter of fact, they lasted longer than aa's at the time.

factory 1 oz 8's....nice skeet load.
 
Product of the mid 70's to mid 80's I always liked them but don't load them more than twice they were prone to the plastic separating from the brass and can lodge in the barrel after several reloads. They were called Blue Magic's

I shot the loose box of one once loads today @16-yards, smoked the targets and all sounded the same (normal).
EDIT:
I opened the 1-oz case and have been shooting them. They function as new, no issues.
Maybe I'll trade off the other case to someone that collects at my local club.

These old shells should only be fired in an old gun, since my trap guns are 44 years old they qualify. So just send them off to me and I will dispose of them properly.
