I'm considering a new pair of shooting glasses and was looking at Wayne Morgan's HD lenses. I've used Decot glasses for years and have no complaints. Has anyone had experiences with Mr. Morgan and his HD lenses ? They're supposed to make the orange targets stand out in sharper contrast.
Thanks for any inputs/comparisons.

I've not used his HD lenses but if the creativity he used making glasses for me that allowed my aging eyes to see handgun sights and a 25-yard pistol target with equal clarity is any indication of his ability, those lenses should work great!

Safety vs Vision-I have both Morgan and Post 4 glasses-as far as I'm concerned Post 4 & Decot are the same. Their clarity is better than Morgan.

BUT MORGAN WILL PROTECT YOUR EYES IF SHTF.

Wayne is a great guy to deal with. I had troubles with my lenses when I first received them, but he did everything he could to make it right. We experimented with different lense materials until I was happy.

Top notch guy, I have nothing but good things to say about him. I always make sure to visit him at the state shoots to continue by business with him.

I just ordered a set of HD's from Wayne. Been too cold here to try them out yet. I started out years ago when I had to start wearing prescription lenses with Decot and liked them, but several years ago wanted to try something else so ordered from Wayne and have been very happy. I personally believe they are both excellent shooting glasses.
I can't remember the name of the guy I ordered my Decots from in Arizona. Can somebody help me here?

I literally just purchased a set of the Randolph Ranger Edge glasses from Wayne at Morgan optical with 3 HD lenses. Shot 4 rounds with them today in the bright South Texas sun and thought they were really good. So far I'm very happy with the glasses and HD lenses.

Ordered the bright HD vermillion, along with dark purple and clear for night shooting from the Morgan's for my Ranger Edge glasses at the PA State Shoot this past summer. They did a terrific job! The HD lenses really make the target pop. I also had a small bifocal put on all my lenses. I couldn't be happier with the great experience I had with Morgan.

I also have the Randolph Ranger Edge glasses with the HD "CMT ColorMag" lenses & absolutely love them! All my other shooting glasses have since made it to the trash bin.

Wayne did an RX version of the CMTs for me and I love them for shooting in the bright sun here in Vegas. Be sure you have yellow lens for those cloudy day as CMTs need the bright sun to work. You will be very happy the very moment you see a target with the CMTs
