Would like to get some extended tubes such as Briley or Wrights. I note that Briley states these have to be custom made to the old tubes. Has anyone had a problem with Wrights or say used tubes ie not custom made?

I bought a Wrights # 9 for my TMX. Took it out and patterned it. Shot some handicap with it and it worked just fine, but thought it was plenty tight so went back to the Perazzi # 7 and 8. I think they're well-made good-looking chokes. Send it to you if you want to try it out.

Someone should toss some Perazzi choke tubes, all types, in a comparator and and check the v-form angles. Old Italian was 55deg and US is 60deg. Maybe the Ital changed at some time - or not. Cramming 60deg v-forms in 55deg barrels might not be a good idea

After posting I found the chart from Perazzi, based on their length figures I have the gen 2 chokes, they are 45mm long and the gen 1 are 40mm long. with a cheap digital caliper I get .69 on the #8 tube which is unaltered and #.70 on the reworked #10 choke. The #8 should be about right for games I would think, we shoot wobble trap for games and some of the 4th shots are out there, TMS should break em good. Good luck to you too.

I have some Brileys if you need any. Not sure, I think mod, imp/mod and full. Maybe 2 mods. These are with the thread at the bottom and will fit the Rome guns, Late non special guns and probably up to 100,000 serial number range.
They are extended, black oxide. I might have some of the factory tubes, gold and not gold numerals.
