I asked the same question and got a lot of help, after talking to a few places, there was only one choice for us. Decot was our first choice but for reasons stated in the previous post and a few pm's from others. We chose Wayne at Morgan Optical, and was the best experience ever!

I have used nothing but Decot glasses since 1980. They are the only glasses I have ever used, so I would be hard pressed to comment on other brands, good or bad. I can say this: Decot has always been everything I want when it comes to shooting glasses...... I think all the major brands are good, it just depends on who you ask as to why one is better than the other. If they work for you, they work. It's just that simple.... Dan Thome (Trap2)

I use L&M Lenses and Morgan Optical. Tried others but not satisfied.

If you have trouble with polycarbonate prescription lenses (many do) and don't want to pay the upcharge for trivex lenses, Mike at L&M will make you a set of UV coated CR-39 optical plastic lenses. That's what I have and they are terrific.

Morgan Optical made the ANSI spec prescription lenses I use for pistol and rifle shooting. I am very, very happy. I will say they do the very best job of fitting the lenses to your frame. Perfect fit with no wobble.

Before you buy prescription shooting glasses--look @ glasses with a base lens that holds your script. this way when your script changes all you have to buy is one clear lens. Morgan sells Ranger spotters--I used them before I had Lasik.

I shoot with contacts, but have set my guys up with Wayne Morgan at Morgan Optical, Olean, NY.

Morgan Optical Sport Glasses
920 West State Street, Olean NY 14760

For 15 years, my guys have been having their Rangers, Sporters and XLWs and now Edge sets, set up by Wayne - never a complaint. Great service after the sale and competitive pricing.

The Randolph Engineering products are second to none.

I have tried most of the major players and have settled on Pilla. Seems all of the majors make good lenses but the key, for me, is a comfortable frame. My Pilla frames are light yet hold the glasses in place - I rarely realize they are on. My Ranger frames with the wrap-around the ear style are very uncomfortable. So, make sure you buy comfort fitting frames and the lenses will sort themselves out.

As far as Morgan Optical goes--they sold the company--I've tried to contact with the old phone #'s

They never pick up the phone--If anyone has had any good results as of late please advise-- I've written them off.

When did this occur? I talked to Wayne about 2 weeks ago. Everything was the same at that time as far as I know.
