As for the 223 WSSM being a throat burner, reports are it is not as hard on throats as initially theorized. And if used for coyote hunting as opposed to varmint hunting, that's going to be an impressive pile of coyotes before the barrel goes south. I would not worry about it for the intended purpose.
claybrdr, I'm not an Olympic Arms fan, but they do make a few products that are decent. They've been making pistol caliber AR15s longer than anyone. While I think the Colt 9mm is better built, some of the others are only going to be found in an Oly setup. Further, Oly makes a target barrel called the SUM (Stainless Ultra Match). It's a very decent barrel, and back in the 1990s it was on the short list of AR15 varmint and target barrels. I gave my old Oly SUM upper to my son, who is still using it. It's so old the rail on top is pre-Picatinny.
