Please note that I have absolutely no financial interest in this sale. I found it while browsing through GunBroker. However, for a mere $6,000 someone can walk away with a complete clay shooting ARSENAL (to use the words of the seller). If this isn't enough, the seller is also offering a comparable setup with a K-gun. They're asking $10,000 for that one (Item number 298144743)

I've spent more on less...

Not a bad idea, and no 2 month wait for the tubes, and time/money spent getting all the custom stock work/fitting done.

I think you are being generous skeet_man. It's all used. Neat setup but way overpriced. I dont know what the Briley tubes are worth but I think it's a $3500 max setup.

$3500 sounds in the ball park, but is more than I would put in it.

I figured $3k for the gun w/ o/u barrels & tubes, and $750/ea for the extra barrels (new 682 bbls are over $1k now).

@ $3500, backing out $750 for each extra barrel, your at $2k. No way $2k buys a 682 Gold tube set unless its BEAT.

It's a top single though and an older one at that. I don't see that as a $3K gun without the barrels. I see how you are figuring and that makes sense. One thing is for sure, we all agree $6K is crazy high.

"I don't see that as a $3K gun without the barrels."

You're not going to find a decent condition 682 Gold w/ subgauge tubes & carrier barrel conversion for less than $3k (tubes and carrier barrel work cost over $2k by themselves).

682 Golds w/ out subgauge tubes are bringing well over $2k.

My dad paid $3k for a used Gold w/ Kolar tubes over 10 years ago, and that was market price then (the gun was like new).

I didn't realize those tubes were that expensive and that you were including it in your estimate for the gun. Makes more sense to me now. Here is the bad news. The guy wants $6K. LOL
