SOLD--Remington Model 90-T lovers--here is your chance to own a one of a kind 90-T! This gun was built for the CEO of DuPont when they owned Remington. Richard Hechert was a shooter/hunter /sportsman who had many fine guns made for himself during his tenure at DuPont. Google him and you can read his obit/bio. We sold some of his Estate guns a while back--Rem 3200's and Remington built Parkers. This gun just recently surfaced. It's a 90-T with a 34 inch barrel. The choke is .038. Nice and tight--it displays minimal usage. The F grade was a designation given to Remingtons highest grade guns over many years. There were F grade Model 32's, 31's, 870's, 1100's, 11-48's, a few 3200's, Model 700 rifles and a few others pre-WW2 models. This, I believe, is the ONLY Model 90-T designated as an F grade on the bottom of the receiver. Handsomely hand scroll engraved--the action and forend metal are beautiful. The blue is high polish. The wood as you can see is exhibition quality. The checkering is first rate and extensive. The comb is adjustable and probably aftermarket. The LOP is 14 1/2 inches over a decelerator pad. The bore is perfect--the finish is superb-and the mechanics are as new. The Bottom of the receiver is marked REH1 and Model 90TF. You will be pleased with this gun!! Delivered in the lower 48--including to our friends in California--for $3450.
What a beauty, Boomer. I don't suspect it will last long at the price offered.
That bluing is a lot deeper and richer looking than what is normally present on any 90T I've ever seen. I hope Doug weighs in on this thread to provide a bit of technical info if he was still at Kolar when the gun was made.
ss
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh my, now you've done it. The tossing and turning is going to REALLY piss Wifey off.
Trades? (Colt Sauer in 22-250 w/Nikon AO, Buehler rings and an almost new Dura Touch SX2 in the rose color plus some cash)
Drool is not really good for the keyboard.
HM
Crap, that's nice. Really nice.
Thanks guys for all the nice comments---Boomer
I am sick, that I missed out on this one. Its going to be a long night. I thought I had the nicest 90T. What a handicap gun, if I would even shoot it. Jon
WOW
I "just" thought I had owned & sold the Best looking 90T's around but, NONE close to this Beautiful Gun. As Lou says-- WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! joe90t
Thankyou for showing us such a cool piece...tru;y a treat to the eyes
There is one more 90-T with more elaborate engraving than this one. I don't no where that one went.
The 90-T in the above post started life as every other 90-T. Remington did the engraving and the wood and checkering are the standard upgrade that was available.
The adjustable comb is not factory...at least not from Kolar Arms.
Curious what the ser.# is.
Doug
Doug, the Ser # was in the original post, which has now been deleted for some reason. I believe it was listed as REH1.
Pictures are no longer up any chance I could get a look at them?Thanx John
I kind of wanted to see the picture
Regards from Iowa
Gene
