Perazzi TMS-1 32 inch barrel, removable trigger assembly, mid-bead, all original with factory chokes, #7 #9 #11 and removal tool, original cases, original pad. LOP is 14 1/2, very nice wood, with less than normal handling marks, bluing is shinny and very nice also, inside barrels are shinny. Very rare striped receiver, imported by Ithaca. This gun shoots fantastic and crushes taragets. Its had no barrel work and shows great. This has been used very little and reflects the same in both the mechanics and apperance. $ 2300 shipped to your FFL. any questions feel free to call me at 978 337 7762 Dana

Dana, Thanks for the additional information. I feel the stock is going to be too high for this chubby lad with no neck.

Please give Steve K. a chance to own an exceptional shotgun.

Thanks, Gary

Dana,

Nice gun, but it is not a TMS.

What you have is a Perazzi Competition IV (TM1) which is the last model imported by Ithaca around 1976. The TMS is a Winchester Import factory choke tube model that was introduced in 1977.

Good Luck with your sale on a classic...

Interesting...

1977 is when Winchester began importing for Perazzi...the S designation designated choke tubes.

Check the top left side of the reciver...see if it's stamped TM1 or TMS.

The forearm wood on these guns are the slimmer style typical of Winchester imports.

Hey everyone, Thanks for all the great feedback and info and especially the calls, The receiver is marked TM1 and it does have screw chokes, which is the S designation. If anyone has interest in this great gun let me know thanks again. Dana

These Perazzis were imported to the USA by Ithaca, here's the catalog listings...

The MT6 is a non-removeable trigger Single, O/U or Combo package that was developed for the 1976 Montreal Olympics. The Competition IV is similar in appearance, but it is a single barrel (TM1) with removeable trigger and included factory choke tubes. Strangely enough, there is also a Competition I SBT in the catalog that is a non-choke tubed TM1!

The bottom line is that these wonderful trap guns were called different names at different times and can be easily misconstrued. Thank God we have this open forum to share information and try to figure this out!
