Had a nice warm-up shoot there yesterday. Looking forward to the state shoot. Tim Hall
Plan on leaving next Wednesday for 'bama.. It is one of my favorite shoots and always have a great time. The "bama" crew always makes you feel more than welcome. Bill and his crew do a great job and even though he is "War Eagle", Tim Hall is great guy as well... Most of the Jacksonville crew will be there at least for the weekend...
I just returned from the Louisiana State Shoot and there will be a few Lousiana shooters coming to the Alabama shoot. Also some Mississippi shooters plan to attend.

I saw that a couple of Alabama shooters shot well at the South Carolina state shoot this last weekend, Jackie Howard & John White, IV both shot well. Tim Hall

Slide action, I shot with Over/Under and you today and explained it is still "tube steaks" and you will need to bring your own roasting stick. Unfortunately, based on the way I shot today at Styx River, I will be eating a can of Alpo...

At the Al Shoot at Bill's club--Everydays a Holiday and every meals a picnic! If you're not having fun there, you need to have your pulse checked! You just can't have more fun at a state shoot!!!!
ASTA HOA PURSE At the Alabama State Shoot MAY 31—JUNE 3, 2012 $2, 600.00 in Sponsorship already received, more available up to three weeks from the State Shoot date.
The ASTA HOA 500 LEWIS will be based on the combined total of your scores on events 5, 6, 7, and 9 and will be similar to the Martin Lewis used at the Grand American.
Entry fee of $20.00 total must be paid prior to shooting event 5. It will be three classes with one winner per class, ties divide. All sponsor and entry money will be paid out. ( estimate payout per class will be dependent upon number of entries but should be between $800.00 to $1000.00 per class. More possible depending on sponsorship. If you have any questions ask cashier or Bill Parson Jr. for more information.)

Up for a great shoot.
Made it in today. Looking forward to tomorrow. Always a great shoot but more importanly, a great bunch of people.
Great first day turnout. Great targets, cooler weather than normal & one of the seven signs of the coming Apocalypse is that I shot a 98 in singles, 98 in caps & 85 in dubs. Three shooters had a 100 in singles, five 98's in caps & a really young shooter from Tennessee shot a 97 to take doubles. Lady shooter, Lauren Hyde shot really well also. Tim Hall

Well I didn't think I was going to be able to make it, but due to some help from some fine folks I will at least be able to shoot the singles championship on Saturday. Looking foward to it as usual.

Just wanted to give a big thanks to the bama gang for a truly great shoot. Great targets and the weather was perfect. Many thanks to Bill,Becky, Tim, Jeff and the rest of the crew. To me, this was one of the best shoots I have attended in my brief trap shooting career. For those who missed it and those who are looking for a great shoot to attend, you cant go wrong.
A great shoot. The weather was great! Everyone at the club worked very hard to keep things running smoothly. Good scores and a lot of happy shooters. The food was good too. You should plan on attending the Alabama Sate Shoot someday, if you haven't already.
