I recently purchased a Browning BT100 with a thumb hole stock. It has a release trigger. I was told it is a Timney. Can it be converted back to standard or is it better to sell/trade for a standard pull trigger? Thanks in advance for any help with this. Brian

It can very easily be converted to a pull trigger by simply removing the whatchathingy that makes it a release. I know that sounds vague but I am not that technical about it. There was very recently a thread with pictures on this site.

What you need to do is remove the "Release Hook Screw" indicated by the RED arrow. Then remove the "Release Hook" inicated by the YELLOW arrow. You now have a pull trigger. Just repeat the process to go back to release.

I call foul. You can't put up a picture and explain only two of the three arrows! What is the blue arrow? :)
