I continue to enjoy my copy bought at the Grand in Vandalia.
Dick was sitting at a table in the museum and signed my copy . Made my day!
It is obvious that it was a labor of love for him to share his memories of trapshooting history.
Its a great book, written by a great shooter and person.
Every serious trapshooter should have a copy in his or her library.

Sara, I enjoy reading "The Road To Yesterday" every winter on a snowy day. I also miss talking to your Dad every time I went to the Grand in Vandalia. He was a permanent fixture in the Remington building. Dick Baldwin was "Mr. Remington" to me. His book would be a very good gift to anyone who likes our sport of Trapshooting. Tom E.

I bought the book from Sara a few years ago. Read it the first time on a cold winter day with snow covering the ground.
I was sitting on the sunporch with my yellow lab sleeping by my feet in the sun and a glass of good scotch beside me.
Best book I ever read, and one of my fondest memories.

Skip entering one Singles event at a large shoot (shoot the Handicap for sure) and you have saved the $30 for this great book. It will definately give you hours of reading pleasure that shooting the singles event you skipped would not.
Dick was a bonus as a director to the Hall of Fame and a friend.

I meet Mr.Baldwin at the Maine State shoot a few years back.I had my always present Red Sox hat on and he had his Yankee hat on.We sat down and talked for a great length of time,great guy and wonderful story teller.

Every year Jack Gracey and I went to the Ohio state shoot or the Grand we would spend time with your dad. He was a true gentleman and I really enjoyed our conversations. Unfortunately Jack died of cancer at age 50 and I miss them both.

Sara,I purchased the book and enjoyed it many times over. I found a old time shooting picture at a yard sale, photo copied it and mailed it to you dad for idenfication of the shooter.
Your dad called me on a Sunday afternoon and we spoke about the picture and then he encourged me too mail my book back to him for his signature,that was only a week or two before I heard the sad news.

A book comprised of old trapshooting stories that my dad, Dick Baldwin wrote in 2005. He was employed at Remington Arms Co. for 27 years and his father was also a retired Remington man. His career in trapshooting spanned over 57 years. He wrote for many publications including, Trap & Field and The American Hunter.He was also co-author for the book & DVD "Trapshooting with D. Lee Braun and the Remington Pros" which is still popular today( he is the man to the right on the cover.)Until his untimely death in 2006 he was the Museum Director for the Trapshooting Hall of Fame.
