Yuma Trap & Skeet usually has an ATA shoot the first weekend in December. It wasn't listed on their website last year but they still had it. You'll have to check. Hope you like to shoot in the wind.
Good Luck,
Marion
I have shot it the last two years and it has had a poor turn out as well as very windy conditions. A nice club but you can't make shooters show up. I think for all the work that goes into putting on a good shoot they just did not get the turnout they needed. Trevor Dawe.
Trevor is correct. We did not take any dates this year because we could not break even in the winter months, and nobody seems to want to shoot there in the summer. We are open for shooting on Sat, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday all winter. We felt that taking the club away from our winter visitors for a weekend only to field 6 squads or so was not fair to them or financially correct for us. We returned all option money to the shooters at our last shoot so that we could come back into ATA program clean and start over when the circumstances were better. Dick Whitman.
