1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

For those of you who don't know the work and time that goes into making shot, let me just say that this is the best deal you'll find, period. I make shot, and I have people all the time asking me if they give me lead, will I make shot for them. When I tell them what they'll get back from their initial amount, they look at me and say, "That's not a very good deal." Then I offer my set-up to them to use, or at least come and watch. Of the few that have come to witness the process, they always come away with a bit more respect and understanding of the amount of effort that goes into making shot. I don't mind doing it, but only so I can shoot on the cheap. Jeff, you have my utmost respect and admiration. Best of luck, and I hope no one tries to take advantage of your generosity. Up for a great opportunity for TS members to get some fine shot for a reasonable rate.

tallpaul is right. Getting, setting up and maintaining a shotmaker (as well as fueling it) is time consuming and expensive. I was going to get into it and had a friend teach me to use his set up. I also used to cast pistol and 30/30 bullets, then lead and wheel weights got harder to get. I figured out it was not for me, and started really appreciating all the work that goes into it.

I did a trade like this once for a 50/50 split. It was face to face. I'd do it again in a heartbeat if I had more lead.

Wet down here to! They need to loo into renting boat slips instead of camp spots out at Mason for the next few days.

Things are really heating up around here! Pun intended! Thanks to those of you that have already sent lead and those that have arranged pick up and delivery with me. For those of you with some large quantity, it is worth my while (and yours) to meet as opposed to shipping USPS flat rate. If you have larger quantities of weights or clean ingots (1000 pounds or more) and live within 750 miles of me (48843 zip code), let's talk. Send me a PM!

Got Lead? This is our little set up.

Below is the result of about 7 hours of work. 300# of 7 1/2's per bucket. The one partially filled has about 75 pounds in it and the other 75 pounds is still draining off camera. Still looking for lead. With the double dripper #8's I can put out about 150# an hour no problem.
