Here's a hypothetical question. Conditions - money is not a constraint and you can only have one combo or one singles/caps gun and one doubles gun for the rest of your trapshooting career. Which combo or which singles/caps and doubles gun are you going to shoot. Please state make and model.

I'm old fashioned, stubborn and loyal so I'd commission the Browning Custom Shop to build me another Superposed ST-100. This time it would be a combo with 32" O/U BBls. choked IM/F and an unsingle with a 35" full choke barrel. Oh, and achingly beautiful Turkish Walnut or Hawaiian Curly Koa if I could find a piece as nice as what's on my Sako 7mm-08. It would probably cost north of $40K but what the hell...it's only money!

I shot the most ATA birds, (200) with my old and wonderful Model 12 3 pin, but it's gone now. In my debilitated condition, I would now use an easy open, easy close gun like my 5E Ithaca. For doubles, it would be my 30" vent rib Model 21 Deluxe Trap. I'm out to have fun, not break records.

It would be an honor to shoot next to a 21. Wish I still had mine.

Got the singles/handicap gun but a Model 21 for doubles would be a blast. I wonder if anyone has ever converted one to a double release. Otherwise I'd like a Seitz O/U.

My dream gun would not be for killing clays. It would be a Parker A-1 Special in 20 ga with 28" barrels IC/MOD.

A new Boss & Co. O/U set up for bunker/pigeons. The gun that Perazzi, P&V, Bosis, Fabbri, FAMARS (may they rest in peace), etc. aspire to be.

THAT get my heart rate up.

The only question is: If I ordered it tomorrow, would I live long enough to take delivery?

    Tom,

Quit showing off that chuck of Tiger Myrtle, will ya!!

I've finally cut three more blanks after searching up and down the West Coast for years. You'll see them on TS.com shortly.

I'm now shooting my dream gun after twenty years of searching. Earlier this year I found a 1978 production all-numbers-matching MX-8 Combo with factory original bores, chokes and forcing cones that had not been ported or otherwise screwed with. Even the numbers on the stock and forends were matching. I attached the left-handed stock that Luccio designed for me ten years ago, had Allem install roller releases in both triggers and haven't looked back since.

I have two lottery tickets in my hand right now. First prize with one is $50 million. First prize in the other draw is $15 million. I know one of them is sure to be for the top prize.. ... doesn't matter which one. I'm going to buy a new Ljutic with gold inlays and the finest wood on it that money can buy. And a custom gold inlayed bigun to go with it. I'm checking the numbers now in the paper ... got 1 number right.... got 2 numbers right ... starting to dial Ljutic now .........only 4 more numbers and my dream gun will be mine I'm calling Ljutic... phone is ringing now .... Third number ..... hmmmmmmm Fourth number damnnnnnnnnnn..... Ok Ok . My dream gun is a Ted Williams Pump gun ....life sucks ... sorry I mean MY life sucks. Oh well I'm having fun.

Have one of my Ithaca singles restored to new and keep my old K-32. Maybe have that Italian firm put one of my dogs on each of them.
