Who is the youngest shooter to break a 100 straight. We had a nine year old shooter break one last summer.

I was lead off on a squad last June when in Sunday's main handicap at the Utah state shoot, 15 years old Haley Musselman ran a 100 from the 27. Youngest woman ever to do that.

Think Britt Robinson might have done it at 8.

Strunk or Hap in 1873, haha, that is funny. Both those gents can shoot 100 anytime they go out and are a threat any day!

If memory serves me, there was a kid many years ago in Amarillo TX who broke 100 at age 12 or 13. Too bad I cant remember his name.......

My son was 10yrs, 4mos, 20 days or something near that. I don't think he is the youngest. He may have been the youngest 200 until a few years ago at the grand a boy a few months younger than him shot a 200.

Isn't Haley the young lady that was left eye dominant but shot right handed, switched and learned to shoot left handed?

I seem to have read Britt broke his first 100 straight at age 11 years and 2 months....with a Model 12? That record held for over 20 years according to the ATA Hall of Fame Britt Robinson page.

IMO, that is absolutely the correct thing to do.

Can't wait to see what this comment stirs up!

That couldn't have been Hap or Strunk. In 1873, wouldn't they already been in their 20's?

This is my first time posting on this web site or any other similar type web site. Although I have not been much for posting I have been a active follower of most all other discussions for many years. This discussion caught my attention and I thought I would chime in.

June 7, 2016 opening day of the Western Grand Grayson Stuart posted 100 straight in event # 1 and then followed that in the next event with a 100 straight in handicaps. At 11 years, four months and 22 days old he is the youngest on record to shoot a 100 straight in both singles and handicaps on the same day.

Eighteen days later at the Utah State shoot he became the youngest on record break a 200 straight in the singles championship.

It's impressive when the young shooters are able to do that. I remember hearing stories about Britt Robinson when I first started shooting about 20 years ago. I think he may have been the youngest to do about everything in the ATA.
