    You can

I bought a flat of AA "AAM127 Y" ammunition. I wanted to know what the "Y" part of the code indicated. Winchester answered "it was only part of the designation". I guess they only wanted to use more ink. Does anybody know what the "Y" means?

Probably just an identification on what line and what date they were manufactured.

    Just my guess.
