Just received an average card in the mail today and on it is marked "review"....question is in the past after the 1000 yard review and you received a reduction it was for 1 yard...this one is for 1/2 yard? Never heard of this, new rule perhaps? And what is the purpose of a 1/2 yard reduction?
Thank You
Maybe you have a singles average that puts a limit on how close you can get and you were half-a-yard over that.
Maybe you broke a score that locked you into some yardage for a year. Then you got half-a-yard. You can get that 1/2 yard off but only down to the yardage you are locked at.
Maybe you asked for a yardage increase and that's now your low-point for a couple of years.
If none of these apply, keep thinking. It'll be something along those lines.
Paul:Have you ever made the 27 yard line? Did this reduction move you to the 24 yd line ? If so you are Y coded and cannot be reduced closer than 24yds without reaching 65 years old.The two 2yd special reductions were the exceptions to the Y code...KS-OKIE
Thanks guys for the responses!!! Just reading the rule book and I believe the above suggestions answer my question!! Thanks again!!
