I would think that just about everyone would be rooting for the Detroit Tigers to win the MLB World Seris that starts tonight. The city of Detroit has been trying to make a comeback for several years and surely winning a World Series would be icing on the cake. Not to mention that they have one of the greatest pitchers that baseball has ever seen (starts tonight).

I always pull for the American Leauge team, unless the Reds are in the Series.

I'm sure Joe Buck and Tim McCarver will do an unbiased job of announcing the game......sure.

I like SF. Talk about a scrappy team. They are definitely the underdog. Plus they beat St.Louis. Gotta like that.

You gotta love Jim Leyland. He deserves a World Series title.

Do you suppose San Francisco will put up "Enter at your own risk" sign at the entrance's of the city?

All kidding aside I hope Detroit goes four straight.

I won't revel how little I know about the Tigers according to the above quiz but it was fun to take.

Stellar pitchers on both teams. I expect a Pitchers duel tonight. Iguess we can tell Detroit "win one for Alex Karras" since the Lions are going nowhere this year.

I haven't decided who I will back. I guess I'm an independent.LOL I normally root for the National League team but I met Jim Leyland years ago. Seems like a nice guy so I'm leaning toward the Tigers.

Normally if I'm undecided I would root for the "red state" team, but both CA and Michigan are true blue.

Maybe I'll just sit this Series out.

Well it's 8-1 right now. Looks like the Giants are spanking them.

Let the Giants get the hits out of their system. It's a long series...

Who cares, as long as the Yankees won't be in it. That's all that matters.
