Texshooter, that's one purty revolver. What caliber, and who did the engraving?

Yeah when Tron was a kid he had a dirty job but he had first hand experience in the john biz!!!

So he joined the plumber's unioun and bought a new truck and this is the way Tron started making the big bucks.

His motto was no Log is to big to shoot down the poop chute!!!!

    <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank">[IMG]</a>

Guess he came up with a better sologan to get hired by the Ford dealership.

no5shooter, It's a Grover's Improved #5 (Texas Longhorn Arms), a copy of Elmer Keith's Improved #5. My gun is a 6 shot 44 Mag. Engraving was by Leo Ferguson, carved grips by Dennis Roland. Price $4,000 with hand tooled "Duke style" holster from El Paso Saddlery. Bowen Classic Arms charges $14,000 for an engraved one like this and a waiting list. AJ

Texshooter, I have the same gun, minus the engraving. They're awfully fine single-actions, and I could be tempted by a .45. I know he made a few #5's in .45, but I don't know how many. Anyway, yours is a beauty. For what it's worth, I'm a pretty good pistol shot but my TLA shoots way better than I do.
Most folks think my sign-on has to do with my preferred starting post for trap, but now you know the truth. Jerry
